Goshen City Dedza Dynamos FC has plunged into a sweeping boardroom overhaul after dramatically dissolving its entire executive committee as part of a major governance shake-up.
In a statement issued to stakeholders, patron Lewis Yumbe Msukwa announced the immediate disbandment of the FDH Bank Premiership side's leadership team following what he described as a comprehensive operational review designed to secure the club's long-term future.
"To streamline our day-to-day operations and establish a more robust governance model, I hereby declare the immediate dissolution of the current executive committee," Msukwa said.
The surprise move paves the way for an interim governance structure to take control with immediate effect, while a newly constituted board of directors is expected to be unveiled within days to oversee the club's strategic direction and financial affairs.
Despite the dramatic changes behind the scenes, the club has sought to reassure supporters and players that football operations will continue as normal. Officials insist arrangements are already in place to ensure training sessions, match registrations and team logistics remain unaffected during the transition period.
Dynamos say the full membership of the new board, along with revised administrative structures and communication channels, will be announced by 1 October 2026 as the club embarks on a new era of leadership.
