Prophet Shepherd Bushiri is set to take centre stage at the 7th Annual Wealth Creation Conference, where he is expected to share his insights on practical wealth creation strategies for navigating Malawi's turbulent economic climate.

The high-profile event, hosted by Sycamore Consult, will be held at the Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre on 7 August 2026, under the theme "Opportunity in the Storm – Creating Wealth in Difficult Economies," drawing attendees hungry for guidance on how to thrive financially despite mounting economic pressures.

Ahead of the conference, Bushiri urged Malawians to stop allowing the difficult economic climate to dictate their future, insisting instead that people learn how to turn hardship into opportunity.

"Learn how to make the economy work in your favor, instead of working against you," Bushiri said in an interview. "Let us discover the opportunities hidden in the storm and build lasting wealth."

The famous preacher and successful businessman, revealed he will share practical, time-tested principles for smart investing during difficult times, promising to cover where attendees should position their money, how to spot genuinely profitable opportunities even in challenging economic conditions, and how to build lasting, sustainable wealth regardless of the wider economic climate.

Bushiri said he is excited to share the platform with fellow speakers Audrey Mwala, Patricia Mwase and Benedicto Nkhoma, who will bring their own expertise and insights on wealth creation to the conference agenda.

The event has been designed to appeal to a broad cross-section of attendees, targeting entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, business owners and everyday Malawians determined to take control of and transform their financial futures.

Organisers say the conference comes at a critical time, with rising inflation and currency pressures continuing to squeeze household incomes and business margins across the country — making financial literacy and strategic investment guidance more relevant than ever for ordinary Malawians navigating an increasingly difficult economic landscape.
